Children are a blessing and heritage from the Lord (Psalm 127:3a). As precious gifts from God, the greatest gift we can give children is the truth about this amazing God who made them and loves them. Indeed, God calls us to tell "
the coming generation the glorious deeds of the LORD, and his might, and the wonders that he has done...so that they should set their hope in God" (Psalm 78:4,8a).
At Harvest Bible Chapel, we seek to help children set their hope in God by
supplementing and
supporting the primary leadership of parents and guardians in the home to tell of the "wonders he has done". By teaching the whole Bible to kids and God's plan of salvation in Jesus Christ woven throughout its pages, we hope to see
the wonderful picture of salvation and growth in Christ found in Isaiah 61:3b come true in lives of children: "
that they may be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he may be glorified
".
May God transform these precious children and cause them to grow from living acorns into a forest of righteous oaks for God's glory!
