Home - Ministries - Harvest Kids - Harvest Kids
Harvest Kids exists to glorify God by coming alongside parents to lovingly evangelize and disciple their children toward faith in Jesus Christ. We want to get kids excited about Jesus and talking about Him with their parents during the week.To help with this we equip parents with resources from our weekly lessons. Children from birth to grade 5 are welcome to join Harvest Kids during our Sunday services, where they will hear the good news of Jesus from God's Word, sing the praises of our great God, and learn to pray and witness about Jesus. This is done in an environment that is engaging for children at various stages of physical, mental, social and spiritual development.
What to Expect
At check-in you will get printed tags for your children and a parent receipt with a matching, randomly generated, 3 digit code. You will need this receipt to pick up your children at the end of the service.
After children have been signed in at their classrooms, there is ten minutes of informal interaction before we begin. This gives children a chance to get to know their teacher and other workers in their class.
Large Group Worship
All of our children from Sk-Gr.5 participate in a large group worship time. This time is led by one of our Harvest Kids worship leader’s. We want to lead our children in a time of passionate singing to our great God.
Large Group Teaching
We believe that the Word of God should be taught with clarity and applied with accuracy. Each week in our classrooms, our teachers open the Bible and teach God’s word in a way that children can understand at their age. We firmly believe children can understand and respond to the Gospel, so we want to be faithful in presenting it to them each week.
We pray that each child entrusted to our care would grow in their knowledge of "the glorious deeds of the Lord, and his might, and the wonders that He has done... so that they should set their hope in God" (Psalm 78:4, 7a).
Following our teaching time, we dedicate the rest of the class to small groups. This is a very important time for our children, as they are given a chance to interact with and apply what they have just learned. The small group questions are written at the appropriate level for each class. We also include in our small group time scripture memorization and time for prayer.
