Home - Harvest Kids
Harvest Kids is a dynamic program for children from birth to Grade 5
that runs concurrently with our Sunday morning worship service at Sir William Gage Middle
School.
Our goal is to provide care and spiritual direction for children on Sunday mornings that supplements and supports the primary
leadership of parents and guardians at home as they disciple their children in the way of the Lord. Guided by the four pillars of Harvest Bible Chapel, we seek to pass on to children a right understanding of who God is and all that He's done from God's Word in a way that
is engaging for children at various stages of physical, mental, social
and spiritual stages of development.
We pray that each child entrusted to our care would grow in their knowledge of "the glorious deeds of the Lord, and his might, and the wonders that He has... so that they should set their hope in God" (Psalm 78:4, 7a).
WHAT WILL THEY LEARN?
We use a 3-year long curriculum called
Generations of Grace.
Year one covers Genesis through Numbers; year two covers Deuteronomy
through Daniel; year three covers the life of Jesus Christ from the book
of Matthew as well as portions from Acts and Revelation.
As a result, the children gain a rich overview of the Bible and a clear
picture of who God is and what He has done. As God's plan of salvation
from Genesis to Revelation is wonderfully unfolded, it is our prayer and
desire to see these children trust in Christ for salvation and grow in
their understanding of, and love and obedience to Him.
FAMILY DEVOTIONS
We also offer a free
Weekly Family Devotional that complements what the
children are learning each week. This is so that you can build upon the
lessons that your children are learning in Harvest Kids on Sunday throughout the week in your own home.
